Single User Licence

Please note that i-method is not yet compatable with Windows Vista.

If downloaded, unpack the zip file to your PC and run the single executable file.
If provided on CD the disk should autorun. If it does not run the file 'Setup.exe' in the CD's root directory.

By default, on installation i-method:

• Copies the application and associated files to c:\Program Files\i-method
• Copies the MSDE installation files to c:\Program Files\i-method\Database_Installation
• Copies the database files and utilities to c:\Program Files\i-method\\Data
• Installs MSDE 2000 to c:\Program Files\ Microsoft SQL Server
• Registers the application
• Installs shortcuts
• Cleans up
• Prompts for a reboot (this ensures MSDE 2000 is running prior to first execution).

On each run i-method checks to see if the database is attached to the server and if not attaches it by running a batch file. On first run therefore it will attach the database to the named instance ‘IMETHOD’.
